On the Sundays that we go out to Mark's parents house for dinner, keeping the girls awake and happy on the way home after a long day is usually a challenge.
Mark introduced Megan to the alphabet game, where you look for the letters of the alphabet in order on signs and stuff. Megan likes to change the rules to suit her, which is fine, as long as she's awake. She likes us to give her a letter and she'll give us a word that starts with it.
So, a few weeks ago, we had made it to Z. I gave her the letter and she said, "Z is for..."Z"anex (Xanex)!
This tells me 2 things,
1. I need to teach Megan to keep "xanex" tucked away for X in the alphabet game...that is always a tricky letter.
2. I should probably start pushing zoo, and zipper, and zebra before she heads into Kindergarten soon. Hopefully, Mrs. Juarez gives points for creativity!
