Megan started first grade today!
Last week her teacher, Mrs. Hatch, invited the whole class to come and take a peek at their classroom so they could see her and the classroom before the first day, and to familiarize themselves with their room.

Today is her first day eating lunch at school. She brought most of it home, so maybe I was a little too excited packing a cute lunchbox purse. We'll figure it out.

I LOVE it when school starts. That's when a semblance of order enters our home. Geneva saw the pictures of your girls and got very excited. She loves her cousins, but especially the girls. All of her dolls and "baby sisters" are named Anna, Emily, and Abby. Hmmm....wonder where those names came from. We actually got a Brooke the other day; I couldn't believe it.
ReplyDeleteEating lunch at school is so funny. Logan took home lunch for a while but never seemed to eat very well. He just figured he would eat it later, plus a few of the kids would trade stuff. I hope she loved the longer days and her class.
