Discovery Gateway

We spent the morning at the Children's Museum at the Gateway. We haven't been there since probably this time last year, so Megan was excited. I thought Abby would be too, and she was, it just took her a little while to warm up.

Checking out...
Pre-warm up, Abby clinging to her dad.
Megan on the horse. She reminded me this was her first time. She's gotten so brave over the years! :)
Princess Emmy came along for the ride.
Abby found Legos, her favorite thing in the world. This was the start of her beginning to enjoy herself.

At the construction place. An older boy kept trying to push her out of his way and go in front of her. Abby let him know this was not OK with her. She can hold her own.

The girls took a class and made snowflakes.

Our KSL news girls. There were two boys over at the weather center going nuts, so Megan and Abby were a little distracted for a picture.
When the wild boys came and sat at the news table (they were probably 9 or 10) Abby stood next to the table and said, "No, no guys! No, no!" We had to drag Abby away from the news table when it was time to go home. She kept saying, "I news! I news!"

  1. That looks like fun, I have never taken the kids.

  2. Oh how fun! I've only been once, when Erin was very little so it was kind of hard to handle both of them. I should go again, I think Shelby would have a blast! Your kids look like they loved it. What a fun activity.

  3. Oh, I hope this doesn't come up twice, I don't know what I did, but the first one got erased. Anyway, looks like your kids had a blast. I need to take Shelby again. The first time I took her I had Erin so I don't think she fully enjoyed everything she could have. What a fun place.
