Kindergarten!!!

Today is Megan's first day of Kindergarten!

(Alex is from the Wizards of Waverly Place on Disney. It's actually kind of a funny show. Megan loves Alex, because of course she is a teenager, and that is all Megan aspires to be these days. My mom picked up this backpack for Megan, not knowing who Alex Russo or what Wizards of Waverly Place even is, but it was a hit. I swear Megan's been wearing it around for two weeks now, just hanging out.)

So, getting out of the house by 8:35-ish isn't going to be an easy feat for the Mageras girls. This morning I tried to get Megan up and even sent Abs to wake up her big sister. Megan begged for one more minute. And so it starts!

After she was dressed, she walked downstairs to get her hair done. She said to me, refering to school,
"I don't know why they schedule these things so early."
Amen to that sister. Amen.

But, we already love Mrs. Juarez, her teacher. We did a fun treasure hunt together getting to know her school and her classroom. Her class is darling. I'm excited for the friends she is going to make this year!
