Dinosaur Museum

So, it was Two Dollar Tuesday at Thanksgiving Point. Hey, what a great time to meet the cousins at the Dinosaur Museum. I knew it would be busy, because two bucks is a steal, but it was total insanity. Wall-to-wall people. To see anything you'd have to elbow people out of your way. But, it was really too crowded to even do that. Luckily Megan had a huge flower in her hair, it made her easier to spot.
Here is Megan and Emily, waiting in line, which wrapped around the building. This should have been our first clue, but the line really moved quite quickly, so I thought it wouldn't be too bad.
Megan making fossil rubbings.
Todd and Megan looking at...probably dinosaur bones. Really I was lucky to get a picture, it was so nuts.
Sand and water...this was fun.
After a while, my parents and I took my two little ones outside(Abby screamed the whole time, poor thing, she was tired and a little overwhelmed by the insanity; Emily only screamed half the time.)
Mark and Lyndee took Todd, Shem, and Megan to see more things. Megan excavated a dinosaur head and played a virtual game feeding dinosaurs, you had to decide if the food went to the herbivore or the carnivore. All in all, Todd, Shem, and Megan enjoyed it. I think it will be even more fun on a day when it wasn't so crowded.
